My professional path


More than 35 years of experience in paper machine clothing, nonwovens and technical textiles


After completing my studies in textile engineering at Reutlingen University, I began my professional career in development and production. In the following decades, I took on international roles in application engineering, process optimization, technical customer support, and business development.


1987

Graduate Engineer (FH) Textile Technology

Reutlingen University.


1987–2000

Production, research and product development

At a PMC manufacturer in southern Germany. Manufacturing, technical design, quality management and project management.


2001–2013

International Application Technology

Technical customer consulting, product development and process optimization.


2013–2015

Manager Fabric Consistency Eurasia

Standardization, quality improvement and data analysis in Germany, Sweden and China.


2017–present

Application development of technical fibers

Material development, technical fibers and international customer support.


2025

Establishment of TECHTEX CONSULTING

Independent engineering consulting for PMC, nonwovens and technical textiles.
